Here's one you won't see on the news

I have ten shells for it. It was given to me with 12 shells 10+ years ago. That's how often it's used. Kept nice and clean though. I have fired some blanks through it, but blanks can do some damage too with that size gun. At 5 feet, I've shredded aluminum cans and blown small glass bottles away with 1/2 powder blanks. I do fire it with blanks about 1 or 2 times a year and then clean it to keep it in good working condition. I use the .22 on a regular basis, and the 20 for shooting [CLAY] pigeons in the open desert in off occasion.

In the old days they used to use rifled slugs in an 8-gauge to kill elephants. That isn't the largest shotgun though. Many years ago there used to be 4-gauge and 6-gauge shark guns. The shells looked a bit like 1-lb. coffee cans

But I think under 8 gauge guns were actually considered Hand canons instead of guns. A canon is essentially a gun, but not really one you'd want to butt up into your shoulder once fired. You might get an undesired bruise or amputation once it's fired.

Yeah, they weren't shoulder arms. They mounted on the gunwale of the boat. Something like that would dislocate your shoulder

Kindda like the feeling of waking up with your arm dead from sleeping over on it. I had that happen to both arms at the same time one night, I woke up screaming because I couldn't move. The worse part of the ordeal is when the blood starts rushing back in with oxygen.

yeah, that's a joy. i often fall asleep on my arm (always go to sleep watching TV these days) and wake up later. i have to pick my arm up and put it where i want it. i'f i'm lucky i get to sleep before the arm wakes up

Why is it when your arms are dead you can't move them right? you can still use your muscles, but you look like a complete spaz.....

That's like a Daisy spring pistol. I'll hand you my 20 and you can shorten the barrell and saw off the back. Now you'll have a good hand gun. You'll need a strong arm though.

marlin camp 9 rifle (now this thing packs a wallop. Due to the extra barrel length a 9X19 round has the velocity of a .357 mag pistol)!

I once shot a rabbit with my camp 9 with a FMJ round and it litterally blew him apart. (Not good for hunting rabbits!)

I blew a rabbit apart with a .22 hoolow point. Of course I use a razor blade to gash the top of the bullet so it would spread better. I won't do it again. I was stupid then and didn't realize it could have opened up in the barrell and cause a backfire.

I have a kid, but he's just under 2 yrs. old. Regardless I always have trigger locks on my arms at all times, when not in use. And the Ammo is also locked in a small safe in another room. There are 2 blanks for each gun that are in an out of reach cupboard. The reason for that is scare factor in case of an intruder and I can't get to my ammo right away.

Mine is just under two as well.

I understand the concern, DVD_Ripper - I don't disagree, her safety is the number one concern. Both her mother and I were raised to respect firearms from a young age, and she will be as well. When they are introduced to them early, and taught respect for them, the fascination factor quickly disappears.

Not content with shooting him in the back, they then murdered him when he put his broom down in surrender to the cowardly soldiers.

He now leaves 37 orphan children and a wife who has no one to beat her any more.

I see that you were watching NBC's account of the story

If it were the FOX network they would have made the count 50 children and 4 wives. They also would have said he was a local FedEx carrier and he was only delivering a FedEx Tube package. When he put it down, they shot him dead so they could steal the broom meant for the new janitor at the local islamic school. NBC is always getting their stories wrong.
