  1. Hey. I have been buying Memorex 4x +R from Amazon for a while because they were quite cheap at that time (something like $0.9/piece including shipping) and I had no problem with it. Yesterday i burned my last disk in my last spindle and got my first coaster. At the same time, my friend who has been buying Memorex 4x +R also got his first coasters in his my most recent spindle from Amazon. I am not sure whether Memorex is degrading or not, but since I am going to get a new spindle soon, I would like to see what else I could get.

    I am looking for something around $1/piece, + format, and I don't care if they are white tops or not. As long as they will burn at 4x and are reliable, i'll be happy.

    Any input will be greatly appreciated.

    There are apparently Samsung DVD+Rs being sold on NewEgg which are manufactured by Taiyo Yuden (the best DVD+Rs money can buy). They are also less than a dollar. There are one or two posts all about these in the media forum.
