Just recently got a 400 DVD changer.
Was thinking about keeping some dvd-rs and some
tv season sets in this thing. Does anyone know
if this is harmful to the dvds if they are in there all
the time?
thanks
Mike

I once had this same question when I had a 7 CD Aiwa stereo. My vote is for not harmful at all.

Never heard of any compliants.
I've kept 275-300 CDs in a CD changer for a few years now. Both the pressed CDs and CD-Rs are still working today, don't know if that helps any though. -
actually, it's probably one of the best spots for them. sunlight is probably the worst thing for breaking down the dyes used. your changer would protect them from that
member since 1843 -
Ok, feel little better now. I just thought I remembered somebody saying
that you should never store dvds any anthing other than their
cases.
But if it is out of the sunlight and as long as it doesn't get too hot inside
the changer, I guess it's ok.
