  2. On the burn page you can select the driver for the cd burner. It is probably set to Ulead. Change it to the NTI driver.

  4. ok that produced a complete burn..thanks (what the heck is nti as opposed to ulead)
but now i took the cdrw down to apex 660 and it came up with a "folder" but unable to play..
which i think is correct i need to be quick and turn off pbc i think for rws or burn to cdr which i havent been since making several coasters last nite

thanks for the nti choice that may have solved it

  5. NTI makes backup and CD burn programs. Ulead used NTI CD Burner drivers while they developed their own.

  6. Yeah, I have an HP 8290 burner, and the Ulead driver has produced 5 CDRW coasters. NTI takes about 3 times as long on my system (what....is it only burning 1x?) but no problems yet.

Other than that, all is working well, and my APEX AD1500 loves the disks.
