  1. I purchased the winproducer 3 trial products CD last week (take too long since I have dial up) because I have heard good things about winproducer dvd 3 and its features. I tried taking mpeg2 home movie video clips, apprx 2 minute long each, added a transition, saved project, tried to burn the project to blank DVD+R disc, WinProducer said it was successful, but it won't play on any of my DVD players. I can only play on PC using Power DVD that came with my computer. I have no problem getting playable DVDs with Sonic MyDVD, Ulead product or MGI, etc. Use same media and same DVD players (Toshiba and Panasonic), same everything, but when I put in finished disc from winproducer into stand alones I get "disc error". I searched forums and the only thing I found which thought was close said DVD needs to be at least 1 gig or sometimes player won't pick it up. Before I make anymore coasters hope someone knows what I am doing wrong. I wrote to intervideo and few days later got this response- "Are you using the exact same type of blank DVD+R media when burning with the other programs you are using, such as Sonic MyDVD? Also, when burning with your other programs, are you force burning the DVD's to be recognized as video DVD's, so that your DVD players are able to play them? From what I understand, many consumer electronic DVD players do not yet support DVD+R media’s. Judging that the DVD's you created on WinProducer are playable on your PC, most likely means that it was burned correctly. Is your DVD burner able to burn in DVD-R format? If so, have you tried using blank DVD-R media?"
Since everthing else has been the same with the other programs I don't see why the media would be the problem unless winproducer is limited to it which I doubt. Any help of course would be appreciated.

  2. If you can, use Winproducer to create the VIDEO_TS folder, then use another app (such as Nero or MyDVD) to burn.

  3. The only place I found the VIDEO_TS files is on the coasters that won't play in stand alones, so I can I take the files in the VIDEO_TS folder and re-burn those by way of NERO?

  4. Yes, Itook the files from the VIDEO_TS folder on the unplayable and used NERO to burn and it worked. Thank you. Now I need to figure out how to make NERO the burning tool.
