    d't understand why
    when i play on dvd player...I c't hear anything unless i max the volume very high (30++) then i hear volume equal to normal
    maybe I didn't burn my vcd well??

  4. Although it's been sometime since I last did vcd/mpeg conversions, isn't there an option within Tmpgenc to fiddle with the audio volume a little?

    In addition, when capturing, did you have the audio capturing settings at high/loud levels? (eg:16bit 44khz stereo)

    The audio settings are correct...maybe I reencode the dat to mpeg again
