  1. Ok, am I missing something here? I take an anime .OGM file that has a video stream, an OGG English stream, an OGG Japanese stream and a text stream, English subtitles.

I am using Virtualdub mod and I want to make an XViD .avi file with resized video, Japanese audio and English subtitles.

I demux the streams from the original file (audio to .ogg and subtitles to .srt) and add them to the resized video yet when I do a full processing recompress, it doesn't add the audio or the subtitles... Am I missing something??

Try using AVI MUX GUI. You might be able to add the srt stream too but I'm not sure. You normally can't add a subtitle stream to an avi. You can't do it all in Virtualdubmod.

  3. Hey, thanks for the tip! If I mux the avi video and the .srt subtitles to an .avi file it works great. But if I try to add the .ogg audio track, it only allows me to output to a .MKV file. I ONLY can use a final .avi.

    Any tips?

    Thanks!

Hmmm. Take the avi with the srt muxed and open it with Virtualdubmod. go to streams>stream list, click "add" and load the ogg file. Go to the video menu and select "full processing mode", then go to the file menu and try saving as avi.
