I went to Prom last night and had a great time and took alot of good pictures.

However I have one picture I really like but the flash did not fire so it's almost completly dark.

I was hoping that someone here with alot of experience with photos could take a look and see if they can clean it up. The best i did was making it red and contrasty.

If you'd like to help me, e-mail me at gprimr1 at towson.edu

Just post it up here, someone will get to it. If the picture is too dark however it will be hard to birghten it without making it "washed out"

    Man is that pic dark....

I am posting the 320x480 version and I'll email you the 720x480 one tomorrow. Let me know if it's OK before I email it.

The size is a problem and at that original size I don't think there is anyway to make it look real good. I can do a little better than this one, but I am on my laptop because my PC is rendering an animation...and has been for 11 hours, it only has 12 hours left So it should be done by tomorrow and I can work with it on my desktop.

    Let me know...

It'd make a good caption competition.

  8. It was very dark...but you can play around with some filters

I didn't get much time to work on it yet, but this one was my best result (small version) -

I just sent you an Email, send me the picture. I'll see what I can do.

The best way to lighten a picture, is to duplicate the layer in Photoshop and choose "Screen Mode". It works pretty well if you do it correctly.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

I hope you don't mind but I sent it to the guy at school who teaches the digital photography class. Which is basically Photoshop 101.

    i dont mind

It's called freak dancing, basically you just hold the girl by the hips and she shakes her ass around ur waste and she might go down and come back up and stuff, it's really dirty dancing.

First time i've done it may I add.
