  1. TMPGEnc has own MPEG Tools. There is combo box "Type". What shall I choose when I am working with MPEG-1 for VideoCD (cutting or merging). There are offered types "MPEG-1 System (automatic)", "MPEG-1 Video-CD".
What will happened when I will choose wrong type of MPEG-1 file?

If the orginal file was VCD compliant, you need to choose that in mpeg tools. If you don't, the resulting file will not be compliant.

I usually chose non standard vcd for all choices, if it is a standard to start with it won't chage it, but if it is a 23 fps film format it will still cut it.
