play all

i am very new to dvdlab and was wondering if anyone could tell me how i could create a option to "play all" just push 1 button to play all the series i have one on dvd instead of going back to the menu after each serie?

The simplest way would be to join them all together, and use chapter markers to find the start of each. That way you could come in at the beginning of any episode. The catch is, you would never return the to menu until the end of the last episode.

DVD Lab Pro (beta 2 - out now) supports play lists which could be used to do this.

(don't know if this can be done, but worth a try). Import all assets. Set up a menu with buttons linked to all episodes individually. So far, very standard. Now go to the connection window, and drag a new occurance of each movie assest (this is the bit I'm not sure if you can do - I'd test, but I'm not home right now). Join each of these together one after the other by drawing manual connections. Now create your play all button, and link it to the first movie.

how do you join them all together ?
i like this best because the chapter list will just do then to find them separtly if needed

Go into CONNECTIONS in DVD-Lab and connect the end of one episode to the beginning of the next. repeat until all are linked this way. Connect the last episode to the menu.

Create a button on the menu and link it to the first episode. they qill all play and once done, go back to the menu. Add chapters to each episode if so desired.

I am trying to make a dvd of THX, Dolby, and DTS trailers. I have a menu with 3 boxes, THX, Dolby, and DTS. I have the THX box linked to the first THX trailer, then that trailer is linked to the next and so on. Same goes for the DTS and Dolby boxes. When I play the DVD, after clicking the THX box, it goes to the first THX trailer, but when i click on NEXT button, it wont go to the next THX trailer, rather it plays all of the THS trailers until the last one is finished.

How can I configure the dvd so when the NEXT button is pressed, it goes to the next trailer under whatever group is playing (this case the THX group)
