  1. I have recently downloaded a AUDIO file that says it's a XVID AVI file. When I try to incode it, using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5, there is no audio track.

When I load the file into GSPOT it tells men there are no audio channels avaiable.

I'm not sure what this means! I've encoded video XVID AVI before without trouble?

Is there something I may be doing wrong or a setting I've missed.

Is this file telling me I need a codec that's not recognized by TMPGEnc and GSPOT software I have installed now??

I pay a lot of attention to DVDRHELP Forum and I think I have all the codec's installed and operationg correctly.

I've tried all the usual places for information, so far no luck.

I sure hope someone can help.

Try avi2wav - maybe it can rip some audio from the avi-file. Then you can use this as audio-source in TMPGEnc...
