I have a Dazzle DVC2 and usually only use this to capture to DVD with no problems at all!
This time I only needed a 30 minute TV program so I captured to SVCD using the standard template that comes with Moviestar!
I then went to burn this to a CD but Nero is giving me the old not SVCD compliant and wanting to re-encode, since nero is naff for that job I tried to re-encode with tmpg but this is giving me an "unsupported file type" error and won't open it at all! I used the mpeg tools part of tmpg and this has demultiplexed with no problem but these files also will not open with the main program! I also tried to open with CCE but it won't open here either! I should just point out that the file does play in power dvd with no problem at all!
So does anyone know if there is any way I might be able to possibly repair this and get this to open and re-encode in tmpg or CCE
or can anyone recommend a different program for encoding this to compliant SVCD
Or is there a program I can use to open this and perhaps discover exactly what the problem is with it?
Any suggestions gratefully received

Try again with TMPGEnc after installing the TMPGEnc MPEG-2 Plugin.
