Hi, I am getting an error code "EAccessViolation" when I try to open the zip file I downloaded from the liteon site for bitsetting or booktyping. I have looked through the forums on this site and have had a lot of my questions answered, however I cant find any info. on this error code. My computer runs Windows 98, and I have a liteon ldw411s dvd-rom with the latest FSOJ frimware update, and a ltn526 cd-rom the yhox firmware. I have only had a computer for 6 months or so, so I dont speak fluent computer language, but I am learning. Could somebody please tell me what EAccessViolation means, and what I can do to stop it from coming up. I know the latest firmware update is supposed to support bitsetting, so what am I doing wrong?

So I have been mucking around with this for long enough, and I worked up the nerve to install windows xp pro to see if this was the problem. What I found is that while running windows 98 I was unable to open the file for bitsetting but after installing windows xp pro I have opened it with no problem. I wouldnt have a clue why, and I dont really care, its done. Hopefully this may help someone else one day.
