About a year ago, a debate began about using labels versus not labeling.
I was a labler but I did get concerned and bought an epson printer that I could PRINT on media. Meanwhile, I had almost 200 VCD's/DVD's with lables.
Well, purchased a SONY DVD/CD SACD Juke box that holds 400 disk. I put in my 100 or so DVD's from the store and my printed backups BUT when I tried VCD's with labels, I noticed some with curled edges. One almost peeled in the machine.
Needless to say, they are not IN the machine as I will not risk it, no matter how secure they look.
Bottom line, these things have a short life expectancy. I know they work fine in the horizontal players I have but the carousel on the SONY is too risky to try and they mount vertical.
DONT LABEL
