My head hurts.

Is it just HP (100i, DVD+RW) vs Pioneer (A-03, DVD-RW) on this or what? The "what is dvdrw" page here indicates that +RW format has wider backing and marginally better compatability with existing stand-alone players.

+R(W) media seems hard to come by, with rewritable disks going for about $15 a pop. -R disks can be had for 1/2 that from several vendors. Neither seems like a deal-killer.
