I capture and encode my fav music videos for myself to watch in my PC.
I use TMPGenc to convert to mpeg-2.
    I use 2-pass
    Average: 2,520
    Max: 3,000
    Min: 300
Normally a SVCD is 2520kbits/sec and higher than that is XSVCD. Now in my case since I am using 2-pass are my vids considered SVCD, XSVCD or somethinge else? Can anyone help me out here?

    Also,
When I can't IVTC a vid I use smartdeinrtalce in avisynth to deinterlace my vids. is there a better method of deinterlacing a vid?

    Thanks

SVCD is intended for interlaced playback on TV sets. Why would you de-interlace it?
