I've read a few of the posts on here talking about DVD-R vs DVD+R battle, I personally have a DVD+R and have had nothing but success with it in every way. I've burned about 10 movies and the results have been excellent.
I did note that while shopping for media, DVD-R disc seem to be cheaper (a lot cheaper). Is there a reason for this? They also seem to be on rebate more often.
Has anyone found a place that has similar prices for both? I usually just get cheap generic discs, or whatever they have on rebate at the local stores as I am a very casual user. Just about any input would be good, I'm just curious.

I have used the memerex dvd+r from walmart and they worked fine. I thin bought a spindle of Ritek dvd-r from newegg and they work fine and play in all my players and PC. I will be buying the DVD-Rs.
Well after reading this site I may be changing DVD formats:
