I hope "formatting" is the right term.
I burned my first -rw disc and crapped up.
Now I want to remove the movie that is on it.
I HAVE read the posts, but they are either
too general i.e., use dvddcrypter or sooo
specific and technical that I don't know what they are talking about.I tried dvddcrypter but couldn't
fibd the area that was supposed to erase the
disc. Will a nero burning rom program do what I
want?Do I have to buy some program to do this ?
    Please keep your answer SIMPLE.
    Thanks for any help

  2. Open Nero.

    At top, click on "Recorder"

Choose "Erase Rewritable" from drop down window

Choose " quick erase" or "full erase" from next window

Put rw disk in burner drive.

    Click "erase".

    Wait for activity to finish.

    Exit Nero

Remove erased rw disk and store in original case.
    Always check helpfiles/instructions before leaping...

You will find that when you want to burn "over the top" of an existing movie on a RW, Nero will prompt you to erase the disc then and there. You don't have to purposely reformat the disc separately beforehand.
    If in doubt, Google it.
