  1. http://www.snazzi.com/Snazzi%20III%20datasheet%20_front_b.pdf

Released 2 weeks ago, available from Singapore only, quite expensive at $350 for the gold edition. However, this card seems to be the most advanced card yet for hardware mpeg-1/2 video capture.
As usual, any feedback from users wanted...

$350 not bad that for the Gold Edition look at all the software you get with it.

  5. Anybody tried the Snazzi III yet (or the kfir-2) card. http://www.infomax.com.sg really wants me to get the card But, at $350, I'm not jumping blindly into it. It has to outperform the PV231 for VCD captures before I let go of my PV231, and upgrade to the Snazzi III. However, the Snazzi III is the greatest looking capture card I have found ON PAPER. No test files and reviews anyplace...

  6. I'm planing on getting that BUT:
Like skittelsen said it have to beat the PV231/PV233 for VCD capture quality. as far as I'm personally concern. VCD and DivX is concern it's the best video format for my needs since DVD authoring drive is not mature or standardized yet.
I do most of my cap in MPEG1 anyway.

ON PAPER the Sazzi III looks great. I'm gotta see some sample clips and what other review it as also. the origina SnazzI was kick ass but the Snazzi II (aka DVCII)sucks more than a dollar hooker.
