These are £8.99 for 25 at the min 2x speed.
Good price but are these going to sway me from ritek G03/04????

most probably fake especially at that price, sonys media id usually (if it is sony made sometimes ricoh o mcc) says sony then something else.is the seller reputable?

and they have these on offer. I have always had great personal service from these guys and they have looked after me in the past with lost orders over the christmas period. (They gave me some extra ritek g03 for gratis .)
So i like to give them my custom and i currently buy my ritek from there.
Just wondering if its worth deviating from the riteks to try these out??

The website seems fairly legit and youve had past good experience with the company, but

on the othe rhand 8.99 for 25 SOny ( a brand name) is very unusual. Im 99.9% they are not real sony (as is that Japenese company) Sony have not to my knowledge ever prodcued a white top/printable disc, niether do they sell media in 25 tubs (only jewel cases)

Its your call.

Update: if riteks work for your burner and burning method and tools etc. then why switch

I don't know about the media code. But I bought a 3-pack (Sony) at Wal-Mart here in the US. I only needed 3 to make a copy of a football game for a friend so I was willing to pay the rather high price of almost $9 .

I burned 1 disc and it skipped all over the place- It was crap! I returned the discs and used TDKs from my personal stash and had no more problems.

I would run away. I've always felt the most pertinent rule in this hobby is if you find something that works- stick with it. Especially media given all the shady players out there.

I was at Costco a couple of weeks ago and picked up some SOny, you probably got made in taiwan media (longten manufactured but media code says sony). Look out for made in Singapore, there MCC and good quality

I've never seen Sony media that cheap let alone spindles!
The cheaper I've seen was at 1.9€ made by MCC!.

note how they go out of their way to say "Sony Dye" not made by Sony or Sony brand. They are probably fakes. Even the same sites ritek's are at least advertised as "Manufactured By Ritek." None of the other DVD-R's they sell use "_ _ _ _ Dye" in the description. Also of note, they don't appear to carry any other Sony products(at first glance anyway)

Believe it or not i tried that before i posted but no Sony 2x -R media is listed.
