Hi all. Bought a pack of 10 Melody +R DVDs from the market some weeks back which costed me $20 all up, these are the ones with the nice aqua colour. Anyways just wondering is this brand good, average or shithouse?
Been to Lordsmurf's site and had a read of his take on DVD brands which was an excellent read, whilst he showcases quite a number of different brands and gave his ratings, Melody doesn't seem to be in there so I'm curious about this brand. He mentioned on his site that any Taiwanese DVDs are likely to be crap brands, well these come from Taiwan so I guess there's a chance they may be crap.
I've used one disc so far and haven't had any dramas, I used it to backup my brothers stuff to free up space and it copied back alright. Though I wonder how reliable they are and if there's a possibilty that some data will be lost after several months making the disc glitchy?
Anyways the company has a website at http://www.melodygroup.com/ which they claim that these discs go through quality control, unsure whether they fair dinkum or are telling a pack of lies?
Cheers
Troy
