Now that the Panasonic E20 has been out for a few years, I was wondering if some of our E20 users could give us an update on how the E20 is handling these days:
(1) How long have you had it? Is it still producing good DVD's?
(2) Have you had any major issues? Did you have to have it serviced for any reason? If so, what reason?
(3) Have you purchased a second recorder? If so, what did you buy?

My experience with the E20:
*(1) I've had my E20 for about 3 years now. It's still producing DVD's like it was day one. I've probably burnt in excess of 500 DVD's. It is an absolute work-horse!
*(2) I've had no major issues, and no need for any servicing. Like most of us, I've experimented with cheap medai and ended up with a few coasters. Live & learn! These days I'm sticking to good brand media.
*(3) I purchased the Philips DVDR75 as a second recorder. I like the idea of re-recordable media (+RW) and it's much cheaper than -RAM. I opted for the Philips over the Panasonic E50, as the E50 is a much trimmed-down version of the E20.
Cheers,
Andy.
