  1. I have some ogm files in my computer and they run no problem but i recently got some ogg video files, first time i heard of those (probably cuz im a newb at ogm stuff) and everytime i try to play them my bsplayer crashes, same thing happens to media player 9 and the worse thing is that when i go to the folder that contains the ogg files my explorer crashes
You guys have any idea what this is about? I have the latest Direct show ogg vorbis filter installed but still i cant get to do anything with the files

Files with the .ogg extension are usually audio only. If you are sure they're videos try opening them up with Virtualdubmod and save as AVI with direct stream copy on. You can try using another mdia player too like Media Player Classic or Zoom Player.

Forgot to mention G-spot. It will tell you if there is really a video stream in your ogg files.

I've never been able to make heads or tails out of Vdub error logs. Did you try using the other media players I recommended? Also, did you use Virtualdubmod or Virtualdub? May not make a difference but just curious.
