Guide for BeSweet

I am looking for a guide to explain all the settings in besweet in laymans terms. All the guides I see are "how to" guides but do not tell you what effects the setting make.

Reason I am asking? Glad you asked. I watch a lot of war movies. Lately I am making all my audio AC3 rather my source is 2 channel or not. This gives me space over PCM and I can up the bitrate on the video. I have figured out how to take a 2 channel PCM source and make an AC3 output that will kick on the pro logic on my home theater system. However, it sucks! Sounds like SH!*. Just about all the sounds come out of the center channel. I am looking for more information on the other settings, particularly how to get the LFE to go to my sub woofer and how to make it really BOOM when bombs go off. If not, I would like to make 2 channel stereo + subwoofer AC3 files. That would sound good on my theater system. Can someone please point me to some good reading in this area?
