This is a weird problem - hope someone can help. I had a student film that I shot on 16 mm film professionaly transferred to the miniDV format. Even though the source was progressive (film) the converted and edited footage has those annoying interlacing lines (especially noticeable in bright scenes)... I used Magic Bullet tools and it successfully removed the lines but also slowed the video down a bit (I'm guessing this is due to the conversion from 24fps film->30fps video/etc.).. Is there any way to get rid of the interface lines without messing with the frame rate? Thanks!

What are you watching it on? You'll see interlacing lines on a computer monitor but you won't on a TV because it is intended to use interlaced video.
