can't burn with nero on win xp home edition

Hi
I am using Win XP Home Edition as Operating System. I am the only user and naturally with admin rights. Still when I try to access my cdrw with Neri Burning Rom 5.5 I get the following error msge:

"Under windows NT4/2000 burn rights are required by Nero to access CD recorders and CD-rom DVD-rom drives. Please ask yopur System Administrator for a permission to use Nero"

I was earlier using the same Yamaha CDRW with this same nero software. I even downloaded software "Nero Burn Rights" and set the permission to "everybody" but to no effect.

Can anyone please help me out/

Are you sure that your are logged in as an administrator?

Also I have heard that earlier versions of Nero are having problems after Windows XP is upgraded to Service Pack 1. Try to upgrade to Nero 6.3.0.0 the latest version!. If you purchased the retail version of 5.5 after May 1'th you are entitled to a free upgrade to version 6 untill last December 31'th so be quick to upgrade if you want it for free:
