  1. How can I change the .m2v to .mpg file.
    When I made settigs for a DVD quality movie in Adobe Premier 6.5, it only accept a .m2v file which I can`t play in my player.

  2. An .m2v is the video stream from an MPG. You need to multiplex the .m2v and the audio stream together to get an MPG. TMPGEnc does this.

    m2v is mpeg2 video (elementary stream). Together (multiplexed) with some kind of audio (mp2, wav, ac3) it becomes what is genarally referred to as a mpg.
    Most authoring applications want both video and audio as elementary streams, which they then use to create the VOB file(s).
