  1. Hi,
I'm still having problems getting VCDeasy up and running.
Everything works until I want to burn ...
    After simulation this appears :

    "Cdrdao version 1.1.5
    0,3,0: YAMAHA CRW8424S Rev: 1.0f
    Using driver: Generic SCSI-3/MMC - Version 1.2 (options 0x0000)
    0 [main] cdrdao 268719 handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
9621 [main] cdrdao 268719 stackdump: Dumping stack trace to CDRDAO.EXE.stackdump"

...and it stops telling me there's an error.
I troed swithing drivers for my CDR ( yamaha 8424 ) from generic mme to yamaha, but it doesn't work.
    Any help appreciated

  2. Rather than burning the CUE/BIN image within VCDEasy, try downloading the latest CDRDAO version and use the GUI "XDuplicator".

Also, download "ForceASPI" from doom9's site: http://www.doom9.net

I wrote a short article on burning CUE/BIN images here: http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd/burning_cuebin_images.html

  3. THanks for your reply,
I tried your method and it works, only the chapters that were added don't seem to be there ( which was the why I would use VCDeasy in the firs place ). I play my SVCD's on a Sony DVD S7700. I don't know if that model has problems with that.
Or is there some specific setting in VCDeasy that I might have overlooked.

    - My method for making SVCD's :
Smartripper - DVDx ( for adding subtitles ) with TMPGenc as encoder - DVtools for splitting ( although it's the fastest and easiest method, the cutted mpeg's don't seem to be very correct, they play but FF or rewind just sort of crashes the complete image from then on, That means, replay from the beginning ) So I use TMPGenc instead, slower but works - NERO, although now , if I get it working VCDeasy and Xduplicator to get chapters .
    And we keep on trying...
