I'm trying to transfer some DV AVI footage to my Panasonic DV camcorder. I've followed the procedures, but Vegas 4.0 claims there is no codec installed.
I have the Panasonic codec installed and a few others, why won't it print?
Thanks![]()

Sounds weird. I use Ulead VS6 and have no problems writing back to DV tape - and that's without installing any extra DV codecs. Must be a problem with your install of Vegas.

Thanks for the reply. I will try a re-install and see if that fixes things.

Problem sorted. It appeared to be a communication error with the camcorder. The Vegas error messages just confused things - a red herring!
