  1. I have a short video(avi) thats in letterbox format, and i want to make it a svcd, but everytime i convert it with TMPGEnc its converted to 4:3 and i dont know how to make it conver the video in its current size..The video looks horrible in 4:3.. Screenshots would make explaing alot easier

    Have you tried in TMPGEnc
    Settings --> Video Tab --> Aspect Ratio --> 16:9 ?
    (load unlock.mcf template if it is greyed out)

    Actually that would make it an XSVCD as SVCD does not support 16:9. WIll probably play in most players though.

    Other setting needed is on the advanced tab. Set Video arrange method to Full Screen (Keep aspect ratio)
