  1. I joined 3x film (from svcd) using womble mpeg-vcr : all ok, however when i used tmpgenc plus to encode for dvd the encoder stops at the first join, it is as if (i AM a newbie so apologies if terminology is wrong) the timecode in the movie is incorrect.

Anyhow - i deleted the original source of the movie - so there is no going back! (i know - i know - i am a spanner!)

I have tried to de-mux the audio/video (again with womble as no other program(i.e virtualdub) sees the entire movie) and tried to encode it again using tmpgenc plus but video tends to freeze at some point...

Am losing hair/ patience any help would be appreciated - can i fix the timecode at all?

    TIA

I would just leave them as is and rencode each one by itself and author them as separate clips and have them run one after the other.
