  1. Hi clever people,
My topic is probably not new by any means, but having looked through the archives of previous problems, i am yet to find one that will match my current issue.
    PROBLEM:
Having purchased a dvd player that plays mp3 discs, i have burnt 2 seperate discs, one with Musicmatch burner plus, and one with nero 5.5.10.28 Neither will play, my dvd displays an "error" message on the L.E.D. and thats that.
Reading the players' manual concerning the playing of mp3 discs, it says i have to select "ISO 9660" as the disc format. That is where my understanding leaves me. Both failed discs were written on cd/r's although Nero was willing for me to place 4500mb of mp3's on a dvd, is that possible? Tips and theories would be much appreciated.

I hope my "problem/issue" isn't too basic, and some nice chap/chappess can offer me a solution.
Please post replies here, or directly to my email.. coldie2000@aol.com

    Regards,
    sjtpepper.

The object is to make SURE that your DVD support manual clearly states that the player will play back MP3s from DVD media. Most DVD players can play MP3s but have to be recorded onto CD media at 44.1 khz.

No experience on MP3 on DVD in a DVD Desktop unit but if the other audio rules apply ANY audio that is on DVD has to be encoded at 48 khz not 44.1 khz.

  3. Thanks for your reply Dennis, but I am none the wiser as I have no idea how to alter my bitrate for burning in nero or any other burning program.
As I said, both of the non-playing copies were burnt onto cdr's not dvds'. Any further help will be highly appreciated.

    thanks,
    sjtpepper

  4. Use Data,mode 1,ISO9660,DAO(closed).
    Use a CD-RW to test.
