    can someone tell mw how i can increase the volume of an mp3 so that it's close to the same volume as everything else i have?

    Audacity using the amplify filter(you will need lame_enc.dll).I'm surprised MP3Gain didn't help,did you set the dB to 95?

    Yeah, I'm suprised too. MP3Gain does exactly what you said you wanted to do.
