    after running the movie through dvdx and burning with nero express my movie plays in black in white whats wrong?i also tried to burn the images that dvdx created nero says download plug in....ahhhhh

    i dont know..after the dvdx process it plays fine on my pc only after i burn using nero to my cdrw it plays in black and white on dvd player..

    Definitely sounds like a PAL / NTSC problem.

    What is the original movie PAL or NTSC?

    united states..and i checked it doesnt say what the movie is.
    and why would this make the movie play in black and white?

    It is just the color synch is off. Look at the original siurce file and see if any of these figures look familiar:

    XXX x 576

    XXX x 288

    etc.
