I'M confused whats the difference

doesn't dvd2svcd convert dvd movies into svcd format? if this is true then why doesnt nero copy the movie with no problem? the movie dvd2svcd was suppose to convert to svcd but it says mpeg 2 and not svcd why is that? i know its a silly question but i'm just trying to learn because i usually burn svcd movies with nero with no problem

thanks alot. I thought i was finished when i ran my movie through dvd2svcd and thought the next step would just be open up nero and burn it onto my dvdrw.I guess i was wrong so now i have to author the movie right?tell me is there any 1 program that does this all ?

In the 'Movie' folder in the DVD2SVCD folder should be your bin/cue files. Burn them with whatever burner program you use. There's no 'Authoring' involved. Unless you unchecked the option, the program should make make burner ready files.

thnks..but i dont see any bin/cue files only vob files and when i drag those files to nero it says i have to purchase a dvd plug in ..could i convert from dvd to divx or avi or any other format that would allow nero to burn without a dvd plug in..if any help i dont need scenes or any other special feature just movie..
