3:2 Pulldown??

Surely it should be 5:4 Pulldown?

29.97 / 5, x 4 = 23.976

Am I missing something?

It's just a terminology thing. I think that it originated as "two frames into 3". You are correct as to the ratio, but look at a pulldown as "two frames, then two frames into 3, then two frames, then two frames into 3", etc.
