I am burning my SVCDS with Nero.
When I burn the whole movie into one sigle file everything works ok, however, when I split the movie into several small files to create chapters, I can not get a smooth transition from one chapter to the next one.
I have noticed that Nero includes a 5 second gap between tracks, and I have tried to play with this by reducing the time, but this doesn't help.
Is this gap between chapters unavoidable?
I would appreciate some help
Regards

I'm not very experienced with menus/chapters/tracks but I think you are burning tracks as opposed to chapters.
From what I have read you will always get the pause with tracks even if you set the time to zero.
If you want chapters, experiment with TSCV or VCDImagerEasy and then burn the cue/bin. (would suggest CDRWin or CDRdao)
I have got chapters working OK with both. (but not always - probably for other reasons)
This also allows you to go to a chapter by pressing the number pad on your remote.
