These are TDK 4x DVD+R's in Jewel cases, 5 for $5.99, best price locally by far.

Haven't tried 8x burning cause I don't got a burner, but the guy at microcenter says this is all he's used for the past week on his 8x and not a single coaster yet.

So far 1 write at 4x plays fine on PC and Philips DVD-724 set top.

at $1.20 each for quality dvd's I bought 50 to get me started. (Quite a savings over a spindle of 50) plus you get jewel cases to throw at your brother!

I was getting ready to post this. Went to MicroCenter today looking for something else, and stumbled across these diamonds in the rough. I picked up 5 packs! That's all the store I went to had left.
