Hello all
im having probs getting dvd2avi to work
this is my first time using the program, so it might be something really stupid, but i tried searching the forum, both here and doom9 but didnt find anything
i got this dvd from a fren that i want to copy,
so i try to open dvd2avi and try to open the first vob file, not the ts one for the menu, the first one for the movie
the main part of the dvd consists of 5 vob that are linked together, so when i try to open the first one, dvd2avi did add all 5 to the list and prompted me to confirm, add, or delete
up to there, im fine, but when i click on ok, the program just closes
no error, no nothing, it just closes
does anyone know why?
i already ripped the dvd using dvddecrypter to an iso file and then mounting the file using daemon just to make sure that there is not encryption for the dvd
is there something else i should be aware with?
could it be the 5 vob files are too large? 5 of them combined is 4.01 gb
any ideas?
thanks in advance

Which guide are you following ?
What i used to do was rip all the files using DVD Decrypter ( Mode File )
then run DVD2AVI selecting a VOB and it picks up the rest.
