REQUEST: Survivor Pearl Islands Episode 1

Hi all,

I'm desperate... I didn't programm my VCR correctly last thursday and missed Episode one (90 minutes special) of SURVIVOR 7- PEARL ISLANDS. I almost never watch TV, but never miss an episode of Survivor...

I'm thinking perhaps someone out there who has taped it would be so kind as to encode it (DIVX or SVCD) and could pass it on to me?? Any other Survivor fan out there will understand the pain I am going through right now...


I totally respect copyrights and understand the forum is very strict on any illegal requests. I'm figuring that my request is not illegal in any way since it is a TV show that was aired publically last week; a show that I would have in my possession if I didn't screw up with my VCR in the first place. So I figure my request is not illegal. If a moderator knows otherwize, please do what you have to do and I will understand.

Just because its aired on TV doesnt mean they waive their copyrights.

Sorry, this is definitely illegal. Recording the broadcast is legal because it falls under the right to time shift. Obtaining that same footage from someone else is illegal because it is distributing, something which isn't allowed under the copyright. This isn't the website to be asking for this type of thing anyway, you will have much better luck elsewhere.
