    Anyone used Pinnacle Studio 8 to edit commericals from mpeg2 tv recordings. If so, can it be done without putting every frame in the edited
    frame reel?

    No, I doubt it.
    i use Studio 8.5 a lot and can't envisage a scenario where you could do this, how would you determine which frames to clip?
    You do realise editing after encoding is not wise?
    What did you encode with?

    As soon as you start editing mpeg in Pinnacle Studio version 8, it will re-encode your mpeg files.
