Banners for media stores

Silly question I know, surely they are there for a reason right!

But is this site getting paid for click throughs on the banners, or maybe a percentage of the sale of a click through from those media store banners.

Not being noisey, but since I plan to be buying more media, CDs and DVDs, and other stuff before long is it worth it to try and find the banner for the store first instead of just going directly to it?

I know the many ways banners can work is why I am asking. I have 2 programs I am in that I get 15% of the sales, so a $100 sale is $15 commision for me! If it's workin similar for this site on media banners, I'll take the time to wait for the right ones to load! Doesn't cost me any extra if DVDrhelp gets $5- $15 on my $100 purchase

If they're just banner exchanges, well long as they were shown is all that counts. Or a nickle click throughs, I'll just send a few bucks later instead of messing with banners.

I am about to buy some disks tonight or tomorow which is why I asked.
Figured if it was a percent of a sale I would use the banner links.
I have clicked most of them already though
