    Hi, all...

I have a very old CDI video disc (Hunt for red october) but I don't have a CDI player anymore (It died a few years ago!).
I want to know if it is possible to convert this CDI video disc to VCD/SVCD so it will play in my DVD-player.
I tried reading this disc in my computer, but Windows says that it is unreadable (both discs)...
Is this some kind of copyprotection??? because the disc is made somewhere in 1990?!?
Does anyone know how to do this?

    thanks in advance...

  2. Do you have the program "Isobuster" (see tools here for the link.)

I think Isobuster can read this format, and then you can extract the mpeg file from it. Then you could re-author as a VCD.

But I have no personal experience with CDI discs.
