    If I install using the CD which I got with the card it works ok ish (but I am getting corruption
    with the text at the top & some characters missing & sound drop out on BBC1
    !, media centre version 2.0)

    So I downloaded version 7.1.. I cannot get it to work.. I keep getting error
    unable to initialise video etc ..
    I have downloaded Direct x v8 + the tv card update... I have also installed
    web tv but still no joy..
    the drivers that come with 7.1 dont seem to be recognised by my tv card..
    the chipset is a BT878 but the new drivers only seem to refer to a bt848...
    Helllllp please ...

    What is your PC's configuration? OS, Motherboard, CPU, video card, etc.
    Have you checked on ATI's web site to verify that the TV Wonder is compatible with your video card?
