  1. I need help converting a DVR-MS file to MPEG2, so I can burn to DVD. I have Windows XP Media Edition, and I captured TV as a DVR-MS file. I haven't found anything to convert this to a MPEG2. I want to take captured TV from Windows XP Media Edition and burn it to DVD. I have read thru a bunch of the Guides and I haven't found anything that has any info about a DVR-MS format. I appreciate any suggestions.

OK, you must have used a DVR to capture that from TV. There is nothing that I currently know of that can make that conversion. There should be a setting on your DVR that can save the captures to different formats, so You will need to use either.avi of .mpeg in the future.

Never use proprietary formats. You always get screwed in the end.
