I made a mpg file, and when i load it in to VCDEASY, it tells me that this will require autopadding, or it will cause errors during playback. Well I thought that maybe I'll use another program to author in, so I used TSVC. I was able to burn the VCD using that, but I get errors during playback, like when i press a number to go a chapter, it just stays on the chapters menu, but the sound for the chapter comes. So i'm guessing that it is an autopadding problem. Does anyone how, or where I can autopad my mpg files to stop the errors?

This occurs when the mpeg isn't multiplexed correctly for (S)VCD. If you're using TMPGEnc, make sure you select VideoCD/VideoCD non standard or Super video CD when multiplexing.

  3. Um... since the "guts" behind both VCDEasy and TSCV is VCDImager (which is where the autopadding gets in), it makes no difference.

As what mats.hogberg said however. You should fix the MPEG first. Autopadding rarely works properly.
