Greetings...I purchased an ADVC-50 about a week ago and was able to capture analog video from my DV 8MM camcorder successfully. Since I also have a Mini DV camera, I also capture DV direct to the firewire card. After doing a MiniDV capture to the firewire card, I cannot capture via the ADVC-50 any longer...I only get video.
I tried disconnecting the MiniDV camera from the firewire card and re-booting. THe "Microsoft DV Camera and VCR" drive shows in the Device Manager. Then I tried capturing via Ulead Video Studio 7 SE, but keep getting no audio.
I am running in Win2K, 256 MB DDR Ram, 1.2 Ghz processor, 220 GB disk space.
Any direction would be appreciated.
