ahh I think I've got it...by Scott...I think i've got it. In addition to being the CEO of every US corporation in the World....weren't they also an ex bull rider? I was thinking that maybe they still owned a bull on their hickory Ranch and decided to go old school and ride em. The bull was tired of hearing their voice so it throw em into a brick wall at massive speed, then shit on them afterwards.

But, do you not think they're all being a bunch of a**holes? This used to be a DVDR site. Lately, it's been some of the most simple " How do I take a file I Dl'd and make a DVD out of a"whatever" file, when, at the time I joined, all I read was "Why the hell should I tell them how to do this when they WONT read the GUIDES. I argued, at the time that they needed help, so give it to them.

Now, everybody is saying, Oh, yes, we'll help you to do something as simple as copying a file from c;\ to d;\.

And, if no one asks that, we'll just pick a missing member and stick it to him.

Hey, he's obviously not here to defend himself, so, hey, he's fair game.

On another subject, actually the same one, I can make a VCD, play it on my cheap Apex 1201, take it to my daughter's house and "No Disk" on her Samsung, which cost more than twice what mine cost. Wow. My own post.

Bickering aside, it's nice when people notice you're gone.

Anyway, I'm only here less these days because I'm done with my online projects at work, and browsing the Internet is not my idea of fun.

This site was the place where I could escape when I developed a headache looking at the work, plus I enjoyed answering video questions for people because I had the answers they sought. I almost left in early May, but the project continued through early July.

It was a great few months, met some great people, some appreciative people, and was able to help quite a few individuals. It was worth it to me. But now it's on to something else, though I'm sure I'll come back every now and then.

I left my mark on this place, with some stickies, about 1900 archived posts, and I've helped a few people with creating guides.

I was at the grocery store yesterday, and heard a couple young college kids talking about dvdrhelp.com. I didn't say anything to them, but it was amusing to hear them talk all about DVDshrink, all the while probably thinking the older guy in front of them barely knew how to turn on a system when I gave them a glance. How decieving appearance can be!

Mods and respectable members, keep this place running smooth.
And UNrespectable members, at least watch your mouth. Kids come here.

Anyway, ATI and Matrox cards are king, DVD-R will win the war, SVCD is useless and mainly used by pirates, and VHS was useless as soon as SVHS was created 15 years ago. Just had to say it once. :P

@ Will: I'm not dead, not dying, not kidnapped by aliens, unfortunately not a lottery winner, only slightly pissed at a few useless members, not stalking anybody, and dvdrhelp.com is great. Kidnapped by aliens? In Texas? Never heard that. I always hear about weird crap happening in Ireland and the UK, in your world neighborhood. Crop circles anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
