    Starting tomorrow (Sun, Aug 3) 50-pack Fuji Film DVD-R discs for $69.99 after $30 instant rebate. The DVD-/+ war goes on....

    Do you know that they are only 1X? I've read lots of comments that the Fuji DVD-Rs from Best Buy were Taiyo Yuden 4X media, just not sure if that is also applicable to the 50 pack spindle. Believe most of the original comments about it being 4X were from the 10 packs w/jewel cases.

    When I was in Best Buy a few weeks ago getting DVD-Rs, I checked the Fujis to see what kind of media they were. The 10 pack jewel cases were made in Japan (Taiyo Yudens) while the spindles were made in Tawain (I've heard they're Riteks). and I think that all of them were 4x. 10 pack box ones definitely are, that's what i bought.
