Is there a program that will rip the main movie to an ISO?

I realize that I can rip the main movie to vobs and then convert those to an ISO. But I'm hoping there is a program that will do both.

I know for sure that Smartripper and DVD Decrypter will do that.

yes, both apps do. DVDdecrypter is, in my opinion the easier of the two (probably just because it was thefirst one that I downloaded),

DVDDecrypter will rip the 'entire' disc to an ISO in ISO mode. In File and IFO modes you can rip only the parts you are interested in but only to VOBs. Am I missing something?

Oh....I'm sorry, I guess I didn't read close enough.

I don't know of any programs that will do that, maybe someone else does.

A long way would be to strip the movie only, burn it to a /RW, then extract that to ISO.

Seems to me there is a coverter somewhere.........

DVDdecrypter was one of my firsts too but I found that using
Smartripper was and still is (IMO) easier for me, (though I'm not a power-
house user)

FWIW...
Perhaps someday, I'll write a DVD app for easier managing of ripping and
things. But, for the moment, I'll stick w/ the easier and smaller tools, like
the ones I'm working on now.. vcalc and slim-g
And, perhaps, as I mentioned an eon ago, in another thread here, some
day, I'll make that MPEG-2 cutter that everyone is so desperately in
need of !!
